Since the age of four, Ximena Escobar has been illustrating. Born and raised in Colombia she graduated with honours from a BA in graphic design. She then moved to London to get an MA in Textiles Futures at Central Saint Martins College.

Since then, she has been working as a fulltime freelance designer and illustrator.

Her work includes publications in Rant Magazine in London, as well as exhibitions such as “Art Aid” at the Royal College of Art and “Up All Night” at Central Saint Martins College.

Her work in Colombia has been published in Axxis Magazine (100 Diseños), Revista Rabo de Ají and Anuario Axxis 2007.
She has also been invited to give lectures, such as Presencias del diseño at Los Andes university 2007.
